St Columba’s Bridge of Don is celebrating a youth mass on the Sunday 15th November at 9:45 everyone is welcome.

Diocesan Youth and Family Gathering

This year's gathering will take place in Inverurie (116 North Street, AB51 4TL) on November 22nd, and it will be different from any other programme before, because this one will start at 2 pm with activities, such as air hockey, table tennis, table football, youth consultation, etc. while soft drinks and food will also be served. Mass will start at 4 pm, and we hope to finish by 5pm. Bishop Peter will be the main celebrant. If you play an instrument, such as a guitar, piano, violin, flute, etc., and would like to play along with other youngsters during Mass please tell Father. Parents are also welcome to come along. Soup will be available, but a food donation is also welcome! If you can come along PLEASE REGISTER ASAP, because we need to know the numbers for catering and travel purposes ASAP, at the latest by the 18th October. Registration forms are available at your parish or on the Diocesan Youth service's website (http://youth-service.dioceseofaberdeen.org ). If you have First Aid training, and wish to come in the bus, please tell Father.

Catholic Youth Service Scotland, National Youth Event

Fri 13th (eve) – Sat 14th November 2009

“We have set our hope on the living God” (1 Tm 4:10)

This year’s theme is Hope; join young people from across Scotland in socialising, discussion, prayer, workshops and much more! For 16-35 year olds, cost £43 (inc. accommodation, dinner, bed, breakfast and lunch) at Gartmore House Activity Centre, near Stirling. Closing date for booking Monday 5^th October 2009.
